Joining Entity Solutions as a Registered Migration Agent in 2004, Lindy Northover immediately put her experience and understanding of migration law into practice, quickly establishing her place as a mover and shaker in a fast growing professional division of the Entity Solutions group.
As General Manager of Entity Migration, Lindy presides over delivery of migration consultancy services to Independent Professionals (IPros) and the organisations that engage them. Representing 30% of Entity Solutions’ $160m annual turnover, Entity Migration provides an edge for the company in a competitive market.
Offering both Sponsored and Independent Migration services, Lindy and her team of registered migration agents facilitate the process of bringing offshore skilled candidates into Australia, providing a full suite of services from process and management of temporary business visas to lodgement of permanent resident visa applications including employer sponsored, skilled independent spouse and other family visas.
The entry of working professionals into Australia occurs in a closely regulated and strictly monitored environment. The legal framework is complex with legislation often changing quickly to keep pace with national and world events. Lindy has presented to Government on recent changes, making submissions to the Joint Standing Committee on Migration (JSCM) regarding eligibility requirements and monitoring, enforcement and reporting arrangements for temporary business visas. She has also provided input into the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) Subclass 457 Review.
Prior to joining Entity Solutions, Lindy gained experience of migration law during time with legal firms Fairfields Lawyers and Gadens Lawyers.
She is a Registered Migration Agent under the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA) and is a full member of the Migration Institute of Australia, through which she has completed extensive ongoing professional development.
Residing in Brunswick with her partner, Lindy loves dining at local restaurants with friends. She also enjoys the theatre, attending trivia nights and taking part in a book club. Travel is a real passion of Lindy’s and she speaks fluent Indonesian.
